I do not dispute that the earth’s climate has changed.  It always has and it always will, with or without man's so-called influence.  But it is a fact, we now know, that for the past ten years the Earth's average temperature has become cooler.  We now know that 2008 was the coolest year in a decade, yet the environmental mantra continues!  Have you noticed lately that, due to this little inconvenient fact, the environmental socialists have been referring to "Climate Change" in lieu of "Global Warming?"  Have you noticed that? 
Ladies and gentlemen, no one wants to harm the planet we live on!  For now at least it’s the only one we've got, so of course we had better take care of it!  But this Global Warming scam isn't about saving the planet - it's about controlling YOU!  Saint Gore the Pious stands to become a very rich man if governments across the globe start mandating the trading of carbon credits!  Just ask yourself this question: if Saint Gore the Pious were truly concerned about the amount of CO2 we are emitting, don’t you think he ought to set the example?  Well guess what?  Just one of his homes in Nashville – a 10,000 sq ft mansion – consumes 12 times the energy of the average home in Nashville.  If you think I’m making it up, check the facts here >> Snopes.com.  And this guy won a Nobel Prize?  For what?   For creating the biggest scam in human history, that’s what.  And we won’t even mention his private jet!

It is frightening the way people are being led like lemmings to believe that 1) humans are the primary cause of climate change and 2) catastrophe is just around the corner unless we take drastic steps!  These people – all well intentioned I’m sure – who buy into Saint Gore the Pious’ religion of Global Warming, remind me of these folks:
 

Penn makes a very valid point that applies to the current Global Warming hysteria when he says: “Is passion supposed to replace common sense?  We understand the desire to join up and do something important – it’s sexy to save the world.  But you gotta spend a couple of minutes to find out if your really saving the world and not just being herded around by some politically motivated assholes who may not really care that much about the environment, but see this as some chance to raise money for whatever they think is a good idea.”

Now, I’ll admit that when this whole global warming scare began a few years ago I was as caught up as anyone in the movement!  I’m embarrassed to say that I just took what was being said as fact and didn’t really question it.  Then one evening I was watching TV when a liberal politician stated that global warming was the cause of the increase in hurricane frequency and intensity in recent decades.  The host of the show didn’t question the statement, but just accepted it as fact.  After all, this rather famous northeastern politician, from a rather famous northeastern family, couldn’t possible be stating something that wasn’t concrete fact!  I’m not really sure why, but I was interested to learn more about this increase in hurricane activity of which that northeastern politician spoke.  So, I went to the archives of the National Hurricane Center and gathered all the available data on North American hurricanes over the past 150 years.  Then I made several graphs of the hurricane activity for North America, graphing each category separately, then graphing just the major (Cat 3 or greater) hurricanes, and also graphing overall hurricane activity.  What I discovered was, there has not been any noticeable increase in recent decades when compared to decades over the past 150 years.  It was simply not true what that politician has said.  Then I started investigating other claims by environmentalists and began to realize that the whole Global Warming scare was a giant scam!  Unlike most of my friends who argue with me about this, I have actually read the IPCC reports on Global Warming (excuse me, I mean “Climate Change”).
The bottom line is, there is no man-caused global warming catastrophe looming – it is all propaganda.  But anyone who dares to disagree is marginalized or made fun of.  Al Gore calls us “flat-Earthers” and compares us to people who think the moon landing was staged!   And the media almost never discussed opposing views in any serious way.  For example, did you know that over 650 scientists, including former IPCC authors and Nobel Prize winners in physics, signed a report to congress refuting the IPCC report?  If you only watch main stream media, or God help you only watch PBS or listen to NPR, then you likely have not heard of this since the main stream media is in the tank for Global Warming hysteria.  When they do, they usually do so in a way that marginalizes them.  A favorite tool of the propagandist is to marginalize anyone who holds an opposing view!
